In just 2 weeks the annual European showcase that is VMworld Europe 2018 will once again be upon us in Barcelona, Spain. This year the event was moved out by a few months as more product announcements are expected and these will be different to VMworld US in Las Vegas.
I am happy to announce that I will be attending for the 2nd year in a row, however my agenda this year will be different. Now that I am working in the Cloud Management Business Unit I will be attending customer meetings and learning more about how our customers are using our CMBU products; in particular vRealize Operations, vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager and vRealize Network Insight.
If you are not able to attend in person then I would highly recommend you schedule some time in your calendars to watch the General Sessions, just like VMworld US, you won’t want to miss these!

TAM Customer Day – 5th November 2018
Although I am not presenting a breakout session this year (yes the competition is tough) I will again be a part of TAM Customer Day on 5th November which is the exclusive, invite only day for our TAM (Technical Account Manager) customers.
I have been fortunate enough to secure a slot for the Specialist Roundtable Sessions where I will have a 45 minute session entitled “vRealize Operations…your questions & challenges”.
At this session, you can bring your burning questions and challenges you are facing as well as have an informal chat about vRealize Operations and discuss your use cases. As a direct result of last years sessions, I was able to help customers address and resolve several issues based on direct conversations which is testament to how useful these sessions can be.
I will share best practices from my time working with vRealize Operations as well as during engagements in Customer Success Engineering.
